3rd GCPRS 2026 Successfully Concludes, Strengthening India’s Position in the Global Recycling & Sustainability Landscape
The 3rd Global Conclave on Plastic Recycling and Sustainability (GCPRS) 2026, organized by the All-India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA), successfully concluded at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 2–5 July 2026, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, recyclers, startups and global stakeholders to advance conversations around plastic recycling and the circular economy.
Positioned as Asia’s largest recycling and sustainability show, the four-day event recorded an impressive 206 exhibitors, participation from 15 industry associations, three government partnerships and one state partnership, along with 20,000+ business visitors and participation from 12+ countries. The event was also graced by 18 VIP dignitaries, reflecting strong institutional and industry engagement.
The conclave was inaugurated by Shri Tejveer Singh, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, with Shri Prabh Das, CEO & MD, HMEL, as Guest of Honour. The inaugural discussions highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between government and industry to accelerate India’s transition towards a technology-driven and circular plastics economy.
A key highlight was the CEO Conclave and Sustainability Forum, which addressed critical issues including recycled plastics regulations, EPR, recycled-content verification, feedstock challenges, polyolefin recycling, the UN Global Plastic Pollution Treaty, ISCC PLUS certification and the future of sustainable plastics.
The exhibition further showcased live recycling machinery, innovative technologies and a dedicated Startup Pavilion featuring 14 startups, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, business networking and investment.
With its strong policy dialogue, international participation and industry-focused engagement, 3rd GCPRS 2026 concluded on a strong note, reinforcing India’s growing role in the global recycling ecosystem and circular economy.
