CIMX 2026 Partners with PCMA to Strengthen Corporate Programme

The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) to strengthen its corporate programme and connect China’s MICE sector with global industry intelligence.

The collaboration will bring international market insights and corporate decision-makers to Beijing, with the partnership forming a key part of CIMX 2026, scheduled to take place from 3 to 5 November 2026.

CIMX is a Messe Berlin trade show focused on China’s MICE market, while PCMA is a global community for business events professionals with members and industry professionals across 72 countries.

Closed-Door Corporate Intelligence Exchange

A key feature of the partnership will be a two-hour, invitation-only Corporate Intelligence Exchange for corporate MICE planners, buyers and decision-makers.

The workshop will draw on the PCMA Outlook Report 2026 – Global Corporate Sector and will be delivered in Mandarin. It will combine report findings with a pre-session survey, live audience polling and peer-to-peer discussions.

According to the organisers, CIMX will become the first MICE event in China to host localised PCMA Outlook intelligence, giving participants an opportunity to compare global trends with priorities and experiences within the Chinese corporate events market.

Global Insights on the CIMX Conference Stage

Selected findings from the PCMA report will also be presented to a wider audience on the CIMX Conference stage.

Florence Chua, Managing Director APAC at PCMA, will lead both the closed-door workshop and keynote presentation. With more than 25 years of experience across Asia Pacific, including 11 years in China, Chua will bring regional expertise to the programme.

The sessions are expected to help business events professionals benchmark strategies, understand emerging challenges and identify opportunities for strengthening the strategic value of corporate events.

Expanding Hosted Buyer Opportunities

The partnership will also promote the CIMX Hosted Buyer Programme through PCMA’s Asia-Pacific channels. The initiative aims to connect qualified buyers from China and international markets with CIMX exhibitors and destinations.

Selected corporate planners will be invited to join the CIMX Corporate Delegate Programme, which includes networking opportunities such as lunch and dinner functions and a VIP tour on the opening day.

Building Long-Term Industry Connections

The collaboration will be supported by a communications campaign before, during and after CIMX 2026, featuring research-driven content, bilingual marketing materials and co-branded assets.

Through the partnership, CIMX and PCMA aim to create continued dialogue between China’s corporate events community and global business events professionals, combining market intelligence, networking and international exchange.

CIMX 2026 will take place in Beijing from 3–5 November 2026 as part of Messe Berlin’s travel and MICE portfolio.
