The Purvanchal Paryatan Association, in association with the Great Indian Travel Fest (GITF), is set to host the 6th edition of its World Tourism Day Celebration on September 26, 2026, at Udman Hotels and Resorts, NH8, Delhi. The annual gathering will bring together key stakeholders from across the travel and tourism industry for a day focused on networking, business opportunities and industry engagement.

The event is expected to attract more than 800 delegates and over 400 buyers, representing tour operators, hoteliers, destination management companies (DMCs) and tourism boards. With a strong emphasis on trade interaction, the celebration aims to provide a platform for professionals to connect, exchange ideas and explore potential business partnerships.

The 2026 edition will feature over 20 exhibitors and more than 15 speakers, alongside a programme designed to encourage meaningful industry conversations. A networking lunch and live performances will add to the event experience, while lucky draws held at regular intervals will offer participants opportunities to win tour packages and hotel stay vouchers.

A key highlight of the celebration will be the presentation of more than 30 awards, recognising contributions and achievements across the tourism sector. The event is also expected to create opportunities for stakeholders to strengthen existing relationships and develop new partnerships across the travel ecosystem.

The celebration is being spearheaded by Shridhar Jha, Founder, with Goldy Rathi, Pranav Bansal, Dilip Rajput, Rajesh Dhankar and Vivesh forming part of the organising team.

With its combination of business networking, industry recognition and engagement, the 6th World Tourism Day Celebration is positioned as a significant gathering for the travel trade in Delhi.
